Explore Ocean City

Ocean City is a resort town that's busy in the summer,
quiet in the winter, and perfect in September. Most of the crowds are gone after Labor Day, but the stores are still open, and the weather is usually beautiful. The average high is 77, and the average low is 56. The water is still nice, too, with surf temperature in the low 70's.

Ocean City was founded by Christian pastors who originally designed the island to be a Christian retreat center. While that is no longer true today, the town still has a very family-friendly atmosphere. Part of this is due to the fact that Ocean City is a "dry" town, serving no alcohol anywhere on the island. Eight miles of white sand beaches and a 2.5 mile boardwalk filled with amusements, restaurants, and shops add to the family fun.

Voted "America's Greatest Family Resort" and one of the East Coast's best beaches by the Travel Channel, Ocean City is sure to keep you having fun. You'll have a great time each afternoon, whether you're swimming, shopping in one the many downtown stores, fishing, boating, biking on the boardwalk, or enjoying one of the many other activities available.

Ocean City is centrally located and is within a short drive of New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and southern New England.

Once you're here, you'll be able to leave your car behind, as you'll have easy access to everything you need. With the hotel just one block from the beach and one block from the church, you'll be able to relax and unwind. And there will be plenty of opportunity for fellowship on the beach, the boardwalk, and by the pool.
